Our Staff

Care For Abandoned Babies

Abandoned babies and babies born to the rape victims in our care are cared for by our invaluable staff who are called “mothers” or “grandmothers”. These ladies also assist the birth mothers who are often as young as 13 to care for and raise their children.

These girls are then encouraged to continue with their schooling wherever possible and if that is not an option, for whatever reason, they can then join the Vocational Skills Programme. This enables the girls to eventually leave the centre and go back to their communities and gain employment or start their own income generating projects.

Special Offer

She Kan is an all-day program which covers topics such as:

  • Communication Skills, Decision Making
  • The effects of the Media on young people
  • Teen Pregnancy
